Alex Wood began his career as an internationally acclaimed violinist, touring from the age of 13 and performing under leading conductors before repetitive strain injury abruptly ended his career at 24.
Facing financial hardship, he turned to crime and was ultimately imprisoned for serious dishonesty offences, including impersonation and multi-million-pound cybercrime.
Since his release in 2022, Alex has rebuilt his life as a prominent counter-fraud speaker and consultant, sharing his firsthand understanding of criminal psychology, social engineering, and fraud with government bodies, financial institutions, law enforcement, and other organizations.
Committed to making amends, he now campaigns to prevent fraud and educate young people.
